    Biogeoclimatic zone/subzone/variant GIS data can be downloaded from the Data Catalogue. Use the following link to access the the BEC Map entry in the Data Catalogue: BEC Map.

    Using the 'Access/Download' link associated with the 'BC Geographic Warehouse Custom Download' resource, the downloadable GIS data is available in either ArcView, ESRI File Geodatabase, or GeoJSON format. It is possible to download data for either the entire province, specific map sheets, a custom-drawn area of interest, or within an uploaded ArcView shapefile. It can also be configured to be provided in BC Albers, UTM or lat/long projection.
