Silviculture Discussion Paper:
Written Submissions

Report Cover Link to Discussion Paper

A new silviculture framework for British Columbia requires informed and thoughtful input. Input that did not fit well into the Discussion Paper on-line response format was also submitted as open format written submissions.

There were 61 written submissions received from government, industry, academia, forestry consultants, and members of the public. The industry responses included submissions from large integrated forest companies, the Council of Forest Industries, Coast Forest Products Association, Western Silviculture Contractors Association, British Columbia Community Forest Association, Federation of BC Woodlot Associations and the Forest Genetics Council.
