The objectives of the study were to: review available studies and information regarding the growth and yield of land which has restocked naturally; discuss biological factors which influence the delay of natural restocking and yields from naturally restocked land; Identify alternative methods to estimate growth and yield of backlog land, if left restock naturally; and, develop estimates of growth and yield which would reasonably be expected from untreated backlog forest land.
