Abstract

Crop tree response of unspaced Immature Douglas-fir to operational fertilization was evaluated using stem analysis techniques eight growing seasons after treatment in three stands (Courtenay, Morton and Sayward) on eastern Vancouver Island. Fertilization significantly increased height growth for 3-4 years, although the effect was quite small and variable.
