Abstract
The Provincial Root Disease Management Guidebook, (Province of BC, 1995), hereafter referred to as RDMG, provides a basic framework for root disease management in British Columbia. This report is intended to give more specific recommendations for Armillaria Root Disease (DRA) management in the Nelson Forest Region. These recommendations are a refinement of the general guidelines presented in the provincial guidebook and have been reviewed in the office and the field. The recommendations expand and build upon steps 4 and 5 of the Root Disease Evaluation Process in the RDMG and are based on research, site conditions, and observations in the Nelson Forest Region.
