Abstract
This guide was prepared to assist field personnel in the use of plant indicators for recognizing evaluating soil moisture conditions.
This guide does not replace the publications, "Ecological Classification for the Nelson Forest Region" (Utzig et al, 1978) and "A Field Guide to the Identification and Interpretation of Ecosystems" (Utzig et al); which should continue to be used for the classification of sites.
