Abstract

Beginning in 2001 the Canadian Marbled Murrelet Recovery Team (CMMRT) undertook a three-part conservation assessment for the species. The assessment will form the basis of a revised national Marbled Murrelet Recovery Strategy and inform revisions to the provincial Identified Wildlife Management Strategy and land-use planning initiatives. This note summarizes the risk assessment component of the conservation assessment.
