    Grizzly Bear Slide Path Mapping for habitat evaluations within Columbia Forest District

Description:
This report is a brief summary for the results of avalanche chute mapping done within the Columbia Forest District (CFD) in 2010 for BC Timber Sales ] Okanagan Columbia Business Area (BCTS). The approach to mapping this year changed from using 1:20,000 mapsheets as the delineating boundary, to producing a complete avalanche chute mapping layer for each BCTS operational area by adding to previous years mapping. A total of ten operational areas were chosen for mapping this year. Three new areas were selected from Golden: Goodfellow, Swan and Esplanade, while seven partially mapped areas were selected from Revelstoke: Bigmouth, BMX]Big Fish, Drimmie Creek, Frisby Ridge, Jumping Creek, Nagle Creek and Stitt]Normanwood
