Installation Fish pasage structures at Whiterocks 20.5km & 23.25km/BouleauFSR22km

Project lead: Glen Dick (Terrafor)
Contributing Authors: Dick, Glen A.; Bates, Alan
Subject: Forest Investment Account (FIA), British Columbia
Series: Forest Investment Account (FIA) - Land Base Investment Program
Description:
The purpose of the project was to enhance fish passage by modifying the stream channel to allow fish migration by backwatering of the 2400 Corrugated steel Pipe (CSP) . Bouleau Creek is an S2 stream with Rainbow Trout known to reside above and below the crossing. A fish passage culvert assessment was completed and in 2008 assessed a score such that the project should move forward to streambed rehabilitation. The crossing is not located within a community watershed.
