Description:
The 1000mm X 900mm existing wood box culvert over an outlet tributary of Long Lake was supported by wood cross-members placed on the channel bed. It was inspected and dtermined to be 232% undersized for Q100 flows, and a partial barrier to fish passage with a score of 43 on the Fish Passage Culvert Inspections (FPCIs) completed September 17, 2006 byDoug Whal RPBio of Snowy River Resources Ltd. This stream is an S3 containing Rainbow Trout and Long lake has resident rainbow trout. Provide a brief summary of the background and history that prompted development of the project.
