Description:
Field sampling of pine stem rusts and ecotyping of randomly selected 7-18 year old pine plantations according to the sample plan developed in 2006/7. Field sampling in 2007/8 is to occur in 65 sites in the SBSdw2, dw3 and mc2 site series in the Vanderhoof Forest District. Within each site a pair of randomly located sample plots will be established. Each plot will be a 20 m x 20 m square 0.04 ha plot. Field sampling in 2008/9 is to occur on up to an additional 154 sites in the PG TSA, dependent on FIA funding and PGTSA licensee support.
