An invasive alien plant road side survey was conducted by Results Based Forest Management Ltd. for Western Forest Products Inc. between July 24 and August 16, 2007. The survey was conducted along all accessible mainlines in TFL 06, TFL 37 and TFL 39. Approximately 1051 kilometers of mainline were surveyed over this period with 268km in TFL 37, 315km in TFL 39 and 468km surveyed in TFL 06. Sixteen listed invasive alien plant species were found, with approximatly148.46 hectares of infested area (table 1). The two most common species, Bull thistle (Cirsium vulgare) and Oxeye daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare) infested 46.3 hectares and 58.8 hectares respectively (table 1).
