The Blind Channel Trail has been in existence for over 20 years. The trail leaves Blind Channel Resort and travels through a variety of forest management settings, providing a good educational tool for tourists who visit this area. The trail gets frequent use from the Blind Channel cliental as well as a number of tour companies that stop in at this resort just for the trail experience (Eagle Eye Adventures, Marine Link). The trail extends for 3 4 km into the forest and offers a number of highlights for the hiker. Some of these high lights include: Beach viewpoint of Blind Channel 100 year old second growth 30 year old second growth hemlock stand, spaced 18 year old third growth Douglas fir stand, spaced 14 year old third growth Douglas fir/ hemlock stand, unspaced Ocean/island vista Old growth cedar (46 feet circumference) Numerous creeks
