The objective of this project was to permanently deactivate the Darling D300 road including a loop around the ridge top and a short spur. Evidence of instability along these roads indicated a high likelihood of a slope failure. This project was undertaken to midigate the hazard of a landslide event initiating from this road and transporting sediment into nearby river ecosystems.
