|This document is the basis of a five-year plan for undertaking follow-up sampling recommended through Fish and Fish Habitat Inventories (FFHIs), as well as Fish Passage Culvert Inspections (FPCIs) within Tolko’s Forest Licence areas in TSA 22 (Okanagan). To provide an effective planning tool, it was deemed necessary by Tolko Industries Ltd., acting on the advice of Snowy River Resources Ltd., to compile all existing fisheries inventory information in a manner that would facilitate the selection of FFHI follow-up sampling sites and FPCI sites (note that the collection of all existing fisheries inventory information is a requirement in the FPCI Standard). Prior to their merger in 2005, the former Riverside Forest products Ltd. and Tolko Industries Ltd., had undertaken a number of Reconnaissance 1:20,0000 Fish and Fish Habitat Inventories (FFHIs) within the Okanagan TSA (n=15). However, follow-up sampling, as may be recommended, has not been completed.|
