The primary objectives of the SHIP project are to quantify the impacts of the MPB epidemic on timber supply in the Vanderhoof Forest District and to examine opportunities, through various management strategies to mitigate these impacts. This phase (2003) of the project focuses on establishing a base case harvest level.
