Salt Spring Island Upland Park: Vegetation summary and restoration plan

Salt Spring volunteers and youth workers worked to restore Salt Spring Island Upland Park to a functioning Coastal Douglas-Fir ecosystem by removing thick broom infestations on 30 hectares of the park. The other main deliverable of the project was a Restoration Plan that includes maps and photos, and restoration options for future years. The restoration plan is available from the Ministry library: Reimer, K, R. Woodgate and P. Grange. 2002. Salt Spring Island Upland Park: Vegetation Summary and Restoration Plan.
