Heavy machinery working to remove culverts and other required work to deactivate road. Cyclists & trail users: do not pass working equipment until operator has indicated it is safe to pass.

Squamish River FSR:
December 1, 2017: Squamish River FSR (mainline) closed at 25km due to wash out. No projected date at this time for when road will be re-opened.

November 14 - December 15, 2017: Road works at 16km on the Squamish River FSR (mainline), expect heavy equipment working in the area and minor delays.

Ashlu Branch:
Bridge at 2km (Ashlu Bridge) closed to all traffic indefinately.

Elaho Branch:
October 26, 2017 - until further notice: No vehicle access beyond 51km on the Elaho branch due to tree fall and rock slide debris. No projected date at this time for when the debris will be cleared.

The public is advised there continues to be significant safety risk due to falling rocks and burnt trees reaching the road following the 2015 wildfire.  Be aware that rock fall may obstruct the road at any time and block the road for up to several weeks.
