Abstract

The objective of this research on the results-based reforestation model is to demonstrate that such an approach can be applied at the operational level. The applied research objectives of this proposal are to determine what it means to be in compliance with a "free growing" stand condition and what volume table can be assigned to cut-over areas. With the ability to predict the future timber volume yields, professional foresters can evaluate the current costs of remedial action to achieve an ideal state for a young stand
