Squamish River FSR:

Updated September 22, 2016: Road closed at 22 km on the Squamish River Forest Service Road (FSR) due to a landslide at Mud Creek.  The Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations has begun work to restore temporary access by approximately 5:00pm Friday, September 23, 2016 to remove the stranded vehicles. The forecasted rain is not expected to impact the opening; however, vehicle owners are advised to make necessary arrangements to remove their vehicles on or as soon after the Friday opening as possible. For additional information please contact 604-898-2100.

- Road works at 4km, September 19 - October 21, 2016. Road closures expected; opening times to be determined - update posted here as soon as confirmed.
- Road works ongoing at 16.5km; minor delays expected.

Ashlu Branch:
Bridge replacement at Ashlu Branch complete

Elaho Branch:
Elaho mainline reopened to public traffic to 42km as of June 2016; however, the recent wash-out of Mud Creek is preventing access to the Elaho branch. When access is restored,  the public is advised there continues to be significant safety risk due to falling rocks and burnt trees reaching the road following the 2015 wildfire.  Be aware that rock fall may obstruct the road at any time and block the road for up to several weeks.
