Scope

This policy covers the planning and review of employee performance.


Policy

All supervisors will establish an annual performance and review process for each staff member.

Performance Planning and Review Process

The performance planning and review process involves the participation of supervisors and staff in reviewing and improving the chievement of results through:

  • developing results-oriented objectives
  • establishing measurement standards and time frames
  • providing regular feedback
  • performance analysis
  • performance review interviews
  • action planning-identifying training and development needs

All aspects of the performance planning and review process are to be fully documented using Performance Planning and Review, form FS476.
