– the plan's proposed use and management of land within the provincial forest is in accordance with section 2 of the Forest Practices Code of British Columbia Act
– the requirements of the plan do not contradict requirements of the Code
– the plan considers the full range of forest resources in the planning area

– appropriate government agencies have been consulted
