Egginton: B.Sc. (UNBC), M.Sc.(SFU)
A.Ag. Research Climatologist (Prince George office) Vanessa is the climatologist for the Northern Interior Region research program. This newly created position supports all research disciplines as well as other areas of stewardship, such as forest health and fire management, by providing information on climate trends and weather observations. Her main interest is analyzing climate variability in northern British Columbia. Vanessa started as a summer student in geomorphology, working with Marten Geertsema and Jim Schwab, where she applied her meteorological experience to analyze landslides triggers. |
