Vegetation Management Specialist
Susan Hoyles, the Silviculture Vegetation Officer, is involved
with vegetation management issues within the . This includes sheep
grazing, manual brushing, herbicide treatments and the deletereous
brush component of free growing. Susan spends quite a bit of time
assisting the districts with their Pest Management Plans; providing
advice, training and information on the impacts of herbicide
use and the various manual techniques on competing vegetation. Susan
is also the regional contact for the Ministry's involvement with the
Northern Interior Vegetation Management Association (NIVMA).
