Approximately 9 hectares, surrounded by livestock-proof fence.

Slope: Level to moderate
Soils: Wycliffe (Orthic Eutric Brunisol)
Leading Plant Species: Festuca campestris, Arctostaphylos uva ursi, Poa pratensis, Spirea betulifolia
Original Purpose: Abandoned airport, now a Fish and Wildlife Reserve.
Years Monitored: 1974, 1995

Comments: Airstrip has seeded grasses; native grassland community around the periphery. Probably the best example of a fescue-dominated grassland in the Region.
