Leading Plant Species: 1998: The exclosure includes a riparian and a forest community. The forest is dominated by Pinus contorta, Picea engelmannii, Oryzopsis asperifolia, Calamagrostis rubescens, Shepherdia canadensis, Cornus canadensis, Linnaea borealis, Vaccinium myrtilloides, and Lycopodium complanatum. The riparian community is dominated by Equisetum arvense, Equisetum scirpoides, Carex leptalea, Carex aurea, Aster ciliolatus, Rubus pubescens, Cornus canadensis, Alnus incana, ans Salix spp.
Original Purpose: To determine Potential Natural Community; to determine seral stage and impacts of livestock management on plant communities and seral stage.
