| Original Purpose: This exclosure
was established with FRDA funding to monitor cattle, tree and grass
interactions. The exclosure is located in the middle of a clearcut
in an area that has been grazed by cattle for 10 years. Cattle move
off the slope above the exclosure through the clearcut to a water
source at the bottom of the slope. The area was seeded with "Silvicultural
Wet" (Orchardgrass, Timothy, Fescue, Alsike Clover). |
