XML PROCESSING
XML scale data are normally unpacked hourly until early afternoon.
We will edit as much of the incoming XML as possible early each morning.

BILLING
The regular schedule for billing jobs is to run Weight Scale on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Piece Scale on Tuesday and Thursday and Samples daily.

The monthly Weight Scale roll-up process was completed June 5th, with associated invoicing completed June 6th. The first bi-monthly Piece Scale roll-up was completed June 6th, with associated invoicing completed June 9th. The second bi-monthly Piece Scale roll-up was completed June 24th, with associated invoicing also completed June 24th.

ANOMALIES
The new schedule for the seven anomaly batch jobs, including the new mismatch jobs, is now in place. They will be run once weekly, on a staggered schedule – Monday to Friday.

RATIOS
The Ratio batch job last ran July 2nd.

BILLED STATISTICS
The Billed Statistics batch job is now on schedule and will run on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

RESULTS is availble now.

ATTENTION: All BC interior ECAS Users

Just a reminder that the Interior Appraisal Manual (IAM) effective July 1, 2008 will not be available through ECAS until the planned date of August 1st, 2008.

As stated in a previous note regarding interim measures, post June 30, 2008* appraisals can either be created with the knowledge that subsequent 're-work' will be required or should be avoided until July 31st. The extent of the 're-work' that is expected will be minimal and apply only to new, post-June 30 appraisals and re-appraisals.

*Note: post-June 30 appraisals means an appraisal with an appraisal effective date of July 1, 2008 or later.

All Genus PRODUCTION Applications (including Resources, GEO, EMS and Security) will be unavailable from Thursday July 10th at 4:30pm until Sunday July 13th at 12:00pm NOON. This is a necessary outage to allow DBA's to migrate Ft St John Pilot Project data from the Canfor Database into the BCTS Production Database (DBP06) and to allow follow-up testing to be completed. A bulletin will be posted as soon as the applications are available.

When assigning a FDU to an Operating Plan in the FDU tab users receive the message "Entry already exists in the system" when in fact, it doesn't. This bug will be fixed in the next release version 9.1.5

ATTENTION: All ECAS Users

The purpose of this note is to inform you that the July 1, 2008 Interior Appraisal Manual will not be available through ECAS on July 1st as originally intended.

The current planned implement date has been moved to August 1st. In the interim, all post June 30, 2008 appraisals can either be created with the knowledge of that subsequent re-work will be required or should be avoided until July 31.

This upgrade is now complete and Genus 9.1.4 and GEO 8.0.8 are now in production and the applications are available.


Genus Production Applications will be unavailable from 4:30pm tonight until Noon tomorrow for the Genus 9.1.4 upgrade and the GEO 8.0.8 upgrade.

FREP will be unavailable starting at 8 am tomorrow morning. This is to accomadate the deployment of release 3.2. When it is successfully migrated to production, we will post another bulletin with a description of the release details.

There is currently an issue with FTA services and a problem submission that is preventing other submissions behind it from processing. As a result, harvest application type ESF submissions are stuck at "submitted" status. We are working to address the problem and submissions will process once the problem is fixed.
