Minister Meets with Visiting China Delegation Oct. 6, 2009 – Minister Bell discusses his upcoming China Trade Mission with China's largest national media network CCTV. CCTV is visiting Canada to shoot a 12-episode documentary film to promote the 40th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries. 
Dramatic Increase in Lumber Exports to China Oct. 5, 2009 – Minister Bell makes a media presentation on B.C.'s rapidly-climbing lumber sales to China, as well as additional funding and a recently updated strategy for marketing wood products in China.

Minister Visits Lignol’s $15-Million BCIT Cellulose Ethanol Project August 24, 2009 – Minister Bell toured Lignol’s multi-year $15-million biorefinery project located at the B.C. Institute of Technology campus in Burnaby. Construction of the plant was completed in September 2008 and is one of the few fully integrated cellulosic ethanol biorefinery facilities operating in the world. 
B.C. Wood Celebrated in Green Building Awards July 22, 2009 – Forests and Range Minister Pat Bell speaks at an awards ceremony recognizing Olympic venue architects for their use of wood and green building practices.

Super House Debuts on Asian TV July 22, 2009 – B.C. wood products will receive celebrity treatment and nationwide exposure in Mongolia this fall when a Vancouver Island designed and pre-built home becomes the star of a prime-time show, Forests and Range Minister Pat Bell announced today. 
New Wildfire Coordination Centre July 7, 2009 – The Province is one step closer to fighting wildfires faster and better as construction starts on the new Wildfire Coordination Centre in Kamloops.
