Green Timbers Celebrates 75 Years of Reforestation

	Minister de Jong and Minister Locke assist Surrey Green Timbers Heritage Society president Peter Maarsman, community activist and Green Timbers Past President Wady Lehmann, and Mayor Doug McCallum in planting a ceremonial tree to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Green Timbers. B.C.'s first seedling was planted in 1930 at Green Timbers starting the province's reforestation program.
