Minister visits Louis Creek rebuilding efforts

Forests Minister Michael de Jong presents a certificate of appreciation to volunteers with the Mennonite Disaster Services - B.C. Unit for their assistance to residents of the North Thompson who lost their homes in the wildfires of 2003.

Volunteers with Mennonite Disaster Services - B.C. Unit are building a number of houses in Louis Creek for residents who lost homes to the McLure fire.

Volunteers with Mennonite Diaster Services have been in the North Thompson since late August, co-operating with other agencies to help affected residents.
