June 4, 2008 – The Province presented the Omineca Beetle Action Coalition
with $870,000 to continue strategy development that will help sustain mountain
pine beetle-impacted communities into the future. Prince George Mayor Colin
Kinsley, Prince George-Omineca MLA John Rustad, OBAC chair and Vanderhoof Mayor
Len Fox, and Burns Lake Mayor Bernice Magee joined Minister of Forests and Range
Rich Coleman for the presentation.
