Lheidli T'enneh Secures Access to Beetle Wood

Minister of Forests and Range Rich Coleman and Chief Dominic Frederick sign a forestry agreement providing the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation with $914,000 and access to more than 1.2 million cubic metres of timber over five years. Minister Coleman signed the agreement while helping open an office for the First Nations Mountain Pine Beetle Initiative on Lheidli T'enneh land in Shelley. Dreamcatchers were presented as gifts as part of the Lheidli T'enneh signing ceremony.
