McLeod Lake Band Secures Crown Timber AccessAugust 1, 2006Minister Rich Coleman and McLeod Lake Indian Band Chief Alex Chingee commemorate the signing of a five-year forestry agreement with a gift exchange. The negotiated deal provides access to 175,000 cubic metres of timber, which will create economic opportunities for the band and help the province battle the mountain pine beetle. |
