Seedling Stock Type Selection in British Columbia
Introduction
The objective of stock type selection is to choose, based on speces, site conditions, planned silvicultural treatments and experience, what seedling characteristics will best suit a particular site.

Nursery and Seed Operations Branch, in cooperation with Forest Practices Branch, has developed two resources to aid in the selection of appropriate stockypes: a 'Provincial Seedling Stock Type Selection
and Ordering Guidelines' guidebook and a "Seedling Stocktype Selection" wall chart.
