The 23
rd Annual Meeting of the Forest Nursery Association of British Columbia will be held in Courtenay, BC at theFilberg Centre September 22-25, 2003. Registration is on the evening of Monday, September 22, with technical
sessions on Tuesday, September 23 and Wednesday, September 24, and optional tours on Thursday, September
25. Please find enclosed a registration package and agenda. Register early as there is limited space available and
registrations will be accepted on a ‘first come-first serve’ basis.
Program
This year’s program theme is SOS Seedlings/Objectives/Service. The emphasis of this year’s annual meeting is
the better integration of client and production requirements. With a greater understanding of these relationships,
our hope is that this meeting will help nurseries to develop an enhanced level of quality assurance for clients,
personnel and suppliers.
There is no formal spousal program but page 5 and 6 contain many exciting local activities.
Accommodations and facilities
All technical sessions will be held in at the Florence Filberg Centre at 411 Anderton Avenue.
The main hotel for the meeting is the Coast Westerly where a block booking has been made for FNABC del-egates.
A list of alternate accomodations is listed on page 7.
Please direct all correspondence regardingaccommodation arrangements to the specific hotel.
Delegates are also responsible for meals not covered bythe registration fee.
The registration fee include
s: Monday Icebreaker, Tuesday continental breakfast, lunch, and dinner banquet andWednesday continental breakfast, lunch and trip to Mount Washington.
