Two B.C. Forest Service offices analyzed their programs’ effectiveness, and discovered similar results:

  • 77% of staff involved in the program felt better and had less absenteeism due to illness.

  • 55% of participants said they felt good about their increase in productivity capability.

  • Most staff agree this program helps to improve office morale.

  • During the one-year analysis, one office accrued 279 fewer hours of time off due to illness, which is a personal health benefit and helps all staff in the office.

  • B.C. Forest Service staff—a total of 842 people—participated in the provincial Walk to Work challenge and raised $1,332.50 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, which shows the genuine commitment of Forest Service staff.

Many organizations have enquired about the program and have adopted the B.C. Forest Service model.

It’s our employees who make the program the success that it is!
