Natural Resource Roads
Thank you to all the persons that submitted feedback on the Natural Resource Road Act project discussion paper. The two-month public review and comment period ended December 15. Feedback from the public input phase of the project has been compiled in a summary document.
The project is now moving into its second phase: the analysis of the outstanding policy issues and options for resolving them. This analysis will guide the drafting of a Bill for introduction into the legislature in Fall 2012. That Bill is intended to create a single, streamlined and modernized approach to management and administration of resource roads in B.C.
