Natural Resource Roads
Resource roads are a highly valued part of B.C.’s transportation network essential to British Columbia’s economic development. They provide access to back-country recreation, connecting remote communities to the rest of the province. Resource roads are currently administered under more than a dozen pieces of legislation. The goal of the Natural Resource Road Act (NRRA) project is to create a single, streamlined, and modernized approach to management and administration of resource roads in B.C.
