Stumpage Rate and Harvest Reports

Stumpage is the fee paid to the BC government for the harvesting of provincially owned timber. The price is on a cubic metre basis.

Finding a Stumpage Rate

Stumpage rates can be searched for from with the Harvest Billing System.

Steps:

1. Enter the Harvest Billing System (HBS) from the following URL:
   http://www15.for.gov.bc.ca/hbs/
2. Under "Other Queries and Menus", select "Stumpage Rate Search"
3. Enter the required criteria:
   • Timber Mark
   • Species/Product/Grade
   • Scale Date
   • Return Type
4. Press Submit
