To fully process a BCTS Appraisal Data Submission (ADS) requires 2 passes in ECAS.

Pass What happens in ECAS? When does it happen?

1st Pass

On your first pass, you will have created an appraisal data submission the same way as all other licensees. You should visit Module B: Completing a Coast Appraisal Data Submission or Module C: Completing an Interior Appraisal Data Submission for a refresher on how to enter the appraisal.

1st pass information is used by the Region to calculate your Upset Rate in GAS.

Prior to the sale of timber.

2nd Pass

On your second pass, you are updating an existing submission with the sale specific information such as sale date, term, bonus bid(s), rate adjusment method, and request statements (if applicable).

After the sale of timber.

The BCTS 2nd Pass Module will take you approximately 10 minutes to complete. If possible, try to complete this all in one sitting!
