Harvest Revenue Systems

The Harvest Revenue Systems Section provides technology related services to Revenue Branch.  The primary services are business analysis support for most Branch systems, planning, budgeting and leading IM/IT projects, and advising on information technology issues.  Harvest Revenue Systems Section responsibilities include data administration, security, web administration, reporting, acquisition of workplace IT equipment, developing billing policy, and monitoring unbilled scale.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Business analysis support for Revenue Branch systems
  • Leading system development and maintenance projects for Revenue Branch
  • Developing budget plans, status reports and other related deliverables for all capital funded IT Projects in Revenue Branch
  • Approving data models, security access and performing security reviews for Revenue Branch systems
  • Providing reporting and data services to the Ministry, Public, Forest Industry and other agencies
  • Managing content and updates to the Revenue Branch web pages
  • Application Custodian for the CLIENT System which is used Ministry-wide
  • Administering IT contracts and budgets
  • Developing billing policy and monitoring unbilled scale
