Vegetation Resources Inventory

Implementation and Planning Reports

Inventory Analyses compare ground sample attribute values, including volume, to those attributes published on the corporate database.  Inventory information in the corporate database uses VDYP7 to generate volumes.   

Inventory analyses completed using VDYP6 no longer provide correct Volume Adjustment Ratios or Volume Impact Ratios, and do not include basal area, trees per hectare & lorey height adjustment.  Ratios for all other attributes analyzed are considered to be correct.  All analysis reports completed using VDYP7 are considered to be correct for all attributes.
