Variable Density Yield Prediction

The Variable Density Yield Prediction (VDYP 7) Model is a new, empirical yield prediction system that will replace VDYP6. The new model is more sensitive to changes in stand density such as basal area and trees per hectare. It is intended for use in unmanaged, natural stands of pure or mixed species composition.
