The North Coast Timber Supply Area includes the coastal portion of the Prince Rupert Forest Region, and stretches from Meyers Passage (north of Klemtu) in the south to Stewart in the north (see map on the cover). It covers approximately 1.95 million hectares and includes the City of Prince Rupert, the District of Port Edward, the Village of Port Simpson and many small coastal communities. The timber supply area is administered from the North Coast Forest District Office located in Prince Rupert.
