The Lillooet Timber Supply Area is located in the south-western portion of British Columbia. It is bounded by the Pacific Range to the west, the Southern Chilcotin Mountain Range to the north, the Cascade Mountains to the south, and the Clear and Marble Ranges to the east. Due to the mountainous terrain, the climate and ecology of the area vary greatly. The western portion of the timber supply area includes wet coastal conditions and drier interior mountain ranges, while the eastern portion has the characteristic low rainfall of the interior dry belt.
