Supply Area (TSA) |

The Sunshine Coast TSA,
located on the south coast of British Columbia, approximately 100
kilometres north of the City of Vancouver, is part of the South
Coast Region and is administered by the
Sunshine Coast District
of the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations.
The TSA, which has a total of about 1.56 million hectares extends
from Howe Sound in the south to the head of Bute Inlet in the north.
Current Timber Supply Review (TSR)
The current allowable annual cut for the Sunshine Coast TSA is
1,197,949 cubic metres, effective January 16, 2012. This AAC will
remain in effect until a new AAC is determined, which must take place
within 10 years of this determination.
