Soo Timber Supply Area

The Soo TSA lies in the southeast portion of the lower mainland area of B.C. It covers approximately 826,000 hectares and includes the communities of Pemberton, Whistler, Squamish and Lions Bay.  The current allowable annual cut for the Soo TSA  is 503,000 cubic metres.

Current Timber Supply Review

In March 2004, the chief forester postponed the date for the next AAC determination until 2010.
