Queen Charlotte Timber
Supply Area (TSA) |
The Queen Charlotte TSA lies entirely within Haida Gwaii, a group of
about 150 islands located approximately 90 kilometres west of
British Columbia's north coast. The TSA covers approximately 465,000
hectares and includes the communities of Masset, Old Masset, Port
Clements, Skidegate, Queen Charlotte City and Sandspit. The
Queen Charlotte TSA is administered by the
Haida Gwaii District.
Current Timber Supply Review (TSR)
The current allowable annual cut (AAC) for the
Queen Charlotte TSA is 869,748 cubic metres, effective December 7, 2010.
