The TSA covers approximately 465,000 hectares and includes the communities of Masset, Old Masset, Port Clements, Skidegate, Queen Charlotte City and Sandspit.

Current Timber Supply Review

The current allowable annual cut for the Queen Charlotte TSA is 255,000 cubic metres. An AAC reduction is in effect under Section 173 of the Forest Act. Initiation of a full timber supply review under Section 8 of the Forest Act is planned for 2007.
