Current Timber Supply Review
Public input is a vital part of the timber supply review process.
A data package and
information report was released on
November
12, 2008. Feedback is welcome on any aspect of these
documents or any other issues related to the timber supply review for
the Prince George timber supply area. Comments will be accepted
until January 30, 2009.
The information report targeted to the general public, and data
package which provides a higher level of detail, both summarize the
information and management practices that will provide the basis for the
timber supply analysis, to be conducted early next year.
The chief forester will consider the analysis along with public and
First Nations input, and other forestry reports when he determines a new
AAC in 2009.
A description and copies of the documents released for the Prince
George timber supply review can be found on the "Documents" site. |
